Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

• Orders: Name, email, shipping address, phone number for delivery details, and order history. Payment details go directly to our payment processor and we never see or store card numbers.
• Oracle and readings: The text or question you enter and the cards drawn so we can generate your reading and email it to you if you opt in. Readings are stored without your name unless you create an account or subscribe.
• Email list: Your address or phone number only if you subscribe or opt in at checkout. Every marketing message includes an unsubscribe link.
• Analytics: Anonymous, aggregated visit data. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no advertising profiles.

2. Anonymous Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool built into our hosting platform. It's cookieless, recording page views, referrers, and device types without personal identifiers. IP addresses are hashed with a daily rotating salt and then discarded. Because no cookies are set and no personal data is retained, no consent banner is required.

3. How We Use It

To fulfill orders, deliver readings, send transactional emails regarding your order or delivery windows, and send marketing emails or SMS only with your explicit consent.

4. Sharing

We share data only with essential service providers who help us operate the business, including our hosting and analytics provider, payment processor, email provider, and shipping carriers. We do not sell personal information or share it with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@clairvoyancetea.com, and we will respond within 45 days. Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising and profiling. Since we do not do either, you are already covered.

6. Retention

Order records are kept as required for tax and accounting purposes. Marketing list data is kept until you unsubscribe. Anonymous analytics are aggregated and not retained on a per-person basis.

7. Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Oracle readings require users to be 18 or older, or supervised by a parent or guardian.

8. Security

We use HTTPS everywhere, reputable processors, and strict data access practices.
